About Jill Jarkesy
Jill Jarkesy’s career in real estate and land use law began nearly 25 years ago, when she became a partner at Perry, Shapiro, Miller and Jarkesy, P.A., a firm devoted to zoning, land use, and municipal law. After five years there, she launched her own legal practice in Boca Raton, concentrating on similar areas of the law. As an attorney, some of her achievements include drafting ordinances that were included in the Palm Beach County Land Use Development Code, and successfully negotiating with the nonprofit Nature Conservancy to preserve ecologically fragile areas in Palm Beach and Broward counties. Later, Jill Jarkesy worked as a realtor for Evergreen Realty in San Clemente, California, specializing in coastal properties in Orange County.
Ms. Jarkesy attended Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, earning her bachelor’s degree. She went on to attain her juris doctorate from the University of Miami School of Law, where she graduated with cum laude honors.
Currently, Jill Jarkesy invests in the Central Oregon real estate market and is based in the town of Sisters. She is an outdoors enthusiast and has traveled extensively. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, mountain biking, and skiing—both cross-country and downhill.
